Getting Started

Welcome to DegenFeed! This guide will help you connect your social accounts and start using the unified feed.

Prerequisites​

  • An account on social.degenfeed.xyz
  • At least one account on a supported network (Mastodon, Nostr, Bluesky, etc.)

Step 1: Create Your DegenFeed Account​

  1. Visit social.degenfeed.xyz
  2. Click Sign Up and fill in your details
  3. Provide a reason for joining (required for admin approval)
  4. Verify your email address
  5. Wait for admin approval (typically within 24 hours)

Step 2: Connect Your Social Accounts​

Once your account is approved:

  1. Log in to social.degenfeed.xyz
  2. Navigate to Settings → Connected Accounts
  3. Click Add Account for each network you want to connect
  4. Follow the OAuth flow for each provider
  5. Your connected accounts will appear in the unified feed

Step 3: Start Browsing​

  • Home Timeline: Posts from all your connected networks in one chronological feed
  • Cross-Post: Compose a post and select which networks to publish to
  • Search: Search across all connected networks simultaneously
  • Notifications: See mentions, likes, and replies across networks

Step 4: Set Up Tipping (Optional)​

To receive tips or send tips to other creators:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Wallet
  2. Connect your wallet (Phantom, MetaMask, Rainbow, etc.)
  3. Set your default tip amounts and preferred tokens
